Marat is a passionate educator dedicated to teaching piano, composition and music theory. He has successfully prepared numerous students for their piano and theory exams, both privately and in schools, with many achieving distinctions and merits. Several of his students have gone on to study music at higher education institutions, some earning scholarships while studying with him. He has also been a long-standing music teacher at the Dar Russian Education Centre.
His approach is rooted in the traditional Russian teaching methodology, which emphasises technical precision and expressive, imaginative performance. Marat tailors his methods to each student, ensuring a strong foundation in music theory, aural skills, solfège, improvisation, musical analysis, sight-reading and other essential disciplines. He incorporates a wide range of musical styles to foster a well-rounded musical education.
