Marat is a passionate educator who dedicates much of his time to teaching piano, composition and music theory, both privately and in schools. He has successfully prepared numerous students for their piano and theory exams, with the majority achieving distinctions and merits. Many of his students have progressed to study music at higher educational institutions, with some receiving scholarships during their time under Marat’s guidance. He has also been a long-standing music teacher at the Dar Russian Education Centre.
His approach is rooted in the traditional Russian teaching methodology, which emphasises developing correct technique and delivering imaginative, vivid performances. Marat tailors his methods to meet the individual needs of each student, ensuring a focus on music theory, aural skills, solfège, improvisation, musical analysis, sight-reading and other essential disciplines. Each lesson is customised to the student's requirements, and he covers a wide range of musical genres to foster a well-rounded musical education.
